So, why digital downloads? It was decided this was the way of the future after Serrato found its way into the W.E. Studio and Odeed became hopelessly addicted to it, searching for mp3s online until the wee hours of the morning. At this time, Wish is still hanging onto her beloved vinyl collection. However, she has recently also been using Serrato to play mp3s of their own tracks and other tunes never released to vinyl.
W.E. have teamed up with Addictech, Release Records, Digital-Tunes.net and Juno Downloads to sell our catalog of music online with digital downloads. The more stores have them, the better! If you know of a reputable non-exclusive digital download website, please point us in that direction!
Most recently, many new tracks have been made available on Addictech: Odeed & Wish "Power the Needle," Odeed & Wish "Drop the Beat," Odeed & Wish "Muse," Odeed & Wish vs. Undecided "Truckin'" and a few dubstep tunes by HD4000 such as "Come Again," "West Runnin' This," "Move Way," and "Turn the Bass Up," with the remix compeition winner The Widdler's remix in addition to the rest of our catalog. Check out the whole list in our music section!

We now have a radio show on Dubstep.fm! Check out HD4000's "Hits from the Hard Drive" show on Sundays at 2pm PST, 5pm EST and 10pm GMT. We're live from the hard drive, so get in the chat room and join the party with the Dubstep.fm family!
This website is still new news! We are currently in version 1.0, and will be adding more content as we come up with it.

Founders of W.E. Recordings (which stands for West & East, since Odeed is from the West coast and Wish is from the East coast), Odeed & Wish met in 2003 and have been making music together ever since. Odeed started out as a battle deejay, then started spinning breakbeats and has numerous releases out on Moonshine, plus several other labels, including "Top Dawg" with Wish on AD6. Wish came up in the MD/DC/VA area as part of Unity, Family Productions, Kidz That Groove, and Siren Alliance; spinning at Buzz, The Edge, Club Midnite, Trust, Tracks, NorVa, and Flood to name a few. Combined, they bring over 25 years of experience behind the decks, synths, sequencers and now Serrato. Their latest vinyl release, "Return of the Funk" which includes a remix by Myagi came out on Funky Cactus and the 12" is available at Grooveriders and Temple of Boom in L.A. or by emailing W.E. Recordings. The mp3 is also available at Release Records.
After Odeed & Wish started up W.E. Recordings in 2003, others began to sense the storm was brewing and they wanted in. First to join was Fallout Shelter, the star of a pirate radio show and remix specialist. Next aboard was Mary Jane, Fallout's partner in crime who was also rumoured to be the original Roxanne. Heather Evergreen came along next, housin' it up with her 4/4 flava, a bunch of fabulous ideas and an even more fabulous entourage. In 2006, The Local Deejays came on the scene with a fresh perspective on things, plenty of youthful energy and a knack for creating party pleasing breakbeats. The dubstep duo HD4000 convinced us that we should add them to our roster by making us some homemade brownies, which were really good - and so was their music. Finally Oden & Wisk came about by crashing our private events, spiking the pudding bowl and defacing people with Sharpies; they presented us with an ultimatum and we were forced to add them to our esteemed roster. We're now a rather ecclectic group of music fanatics, although not all of us get out of the studio very often.
However, Odeed & Wish can be booked to drop some W.E. exclusives and general mayhem at your next event... contact info@werecordings.com for availability and information.
