Bio:

Chuck 1 has been a mix DJ for 14+ years. He DJs at a local radio station in Bakersfield Ca. His preference in music is downtempo. Though he plays many varieties of music, including top 40, downtempo is his personal favorite that he is able to express what he feels, "musically," the best. Aside from DJ work, Chuck 1 is also a painter and graphic artist studying visual effects and motion graphics.

Some of his favorite groups, musical artists, and inspiration are Ninja Tune, DJ Shadow, DJ Krush, DJ Cam, DJ Vadim, Tommy Guerrero, Up Bustle & Out, Quantic, Mo Wax, UNKLE, Yppah, DJ Yuze, DJ Yas, DJ Kensei, DJ Kentaro, Kid Koala, Kid Loco, RJD2, DJ Odeed and Wish, Lykke Li, The Rza, Black Keys, Portishead, Si*Se, Dawn ;), Ceu, Bomba Estereo, Thievory Corp., The Heavy, Air, Attica Blues, Gramatik, Nightmares on Wax, Tricky, Etc...
